(no subject)

I'm seriously looking into how much it would cost me to go to Berlin on July 8th to see Radiohead at their last gig in Europe. *headdesk*

It's €159,- by train to get there and back from Amsterdam. This would mean I would spent more than 15 hours in a train, just to see 2 hours of Radiohead. The cost do not include a ticket, from a gig that is sold out anyway.

I'm going to be rational about this again (just like I talked myself out of going to Rock Werchter this weekend were, surprise surprise, Radiohead is playing on Saturday).

- It would cost me more than €200,- for a day out
- I still want to go on holiday with ilovesamwise (to Berlin, as it happens, only in August). If I go FOR ONE DAY I won't have money for that
- I've seen Radiohead three times already (OH MY GOD!)
- There will be bootlegs. And YouTube video's
- They will return to Europe again, once. And then I'm just going to see them a couple of times again. I might just plan a holiday around it, so that I can see them in various countries. I should just start saving money already.

See? I'm not going to do it.

I'll better work on my post on R.E.M.'s gig. And on my new layout (which is Radiohead-themed. Who would have thought, huh?)
