I don't think I really have to mention that I am fully prepared to travel far to see them again, right?
Radiohead have revealed they are working on new material and planning a summer tour.
Guitarist Ed O'Brien told Newsbeat the Oxford band would be hitting the studio soon.
"We are working on new material," he explained. "We'll be doing some more recording. It's business as usual.
"We've sort of finished the bulk of [In Rainbows] touring," he added. ""We will be doing a little bit of touring in the summer, watch this space!"

Dec. 11th, 2008 01:02 amFirst row at Travis gig, right in between Dougie and Fran. Best spot EVER. Dougie beamed his gorgeous smile at me at some point and I just beamed right back. What a guy. Also, I HAVE HIS GUITAR PICK!

More tomorrow when I have a brain again.
I'm so darn proud of myself today. For people on Twitter (that is SPAM-heaven, really!) old news, but I went from 1,280 of ~5,000 words in the morning to 2,666 words midday, to 3,983 words in an hour to 5,455 as an end result. I'm made of win today

Aug. 28th, 2008 09:27 pmSanta Barbara
Hello! To celebrate the end of a brilliant tour, we're [as in 'Radiohead'] going to webcast the last show here in America. We'll be playing live in Santa Barbara, at the Bowl. It's one of our favourite places to play; I think we've ended tours there before, once even playing a cover of ' cinnamon girl '. It's not too big, in fact it's very intimate, a small arena with a dirt floor, set in pretty countryside. It should be a special night, for lots of reasons, and we're going to try and share as much of it as we can on the webcast. Nigel, our producer, will be helping out getting it to you, so if it goes wrong....It's live!
Thank you so much to everyone who's come and seen us this year; it has truly been the most special and exciting tour for all of us.
Webcast details to follow...
x
Colin
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! That's TONIGHT! I'm not going to sleep! RADIOHEAD! YAY!!!
I love those guys so much

Radiohead score new Palahniuk film
12 August 2008 - Controversial Fight Club and Snuff author Chuck Palahniuk has revealed Radiohead have written brand new music for the soundtrack to the new movie adaptation of his book Choke.
Speaking to 6 Music on the Shaun Keaveny Breakfast Show, Palahniuk explained it all came from his love of the band’s music, saying:
“Clark Gregg, who directed the movie version of Choke which comes out in November, he knew that I’d written Choke while listening to [Radiohead’s 1993 debut album] Pablo Honey, with Creep, over and over and over.
“So Clark got Radiohead to contribute a song; to write a song for the very end of the movie, the final credits.
“Apparently Radiohead liked the movie so much, they’ve written the score, most of the ambient music throughout it. So it’s ‘Choke – with the music of Radiohead’“
When asked if he felt honoured to have such a respected band write music solely for his film, the author laughed, “I quit believing in my own life at this point! My life is just too incredible to be believable anymore. It’s a living dream.”
Palahniuk’s work is famous associated with alternative music, with his use of Pixies’ Where Is My Mind during the finale of the feature film adaptation of his novel Fight Club.

May. 5th, 2008 09:42 pmGuys, GUYS!
RONNIE IS WORLD CHAMPION!
The bastard! I've only seen the last 20 points or so.
HOW CUTE ARE HIS KIDS? AND HIS PRETTY GIRLFRIEND/WIFE?
They are a ridiculously cute little family. Too bad these computers don't have sound: I'd love to hear what's been said. I'm gonna have to be patient, until I can download it all and watch it full of glee.
WORLD. CHAMPION!
And again: please SOMEBODY hug Ali. Seriously. He's too cute to pout this much.
ETA: It was a bit of anti climax final, wasn't it? Mostly they are, though. Nothing can simply beat that fightback!Ken against Mark J. That was easily the most exciting Worlds final in a loooong time. (Okay, since the black ball one, maybe?)
ETA2: How happy does Ronnie look? Awwwww. He's so cute with his kids.
ETA3: Also, who is that adorable old guy? (I really must get back to work)
ETA4: Oh God. I had too much wine. Again. Why do I end up drinking too much wine EVERY evening since I'm in Florence? (I know why. We all have so much fun. You hardly notice you're drinking. It doesn't really make getting up any easier, though)

Mar. 5th, 2008 06:56 pmSeptuplets, full solar eclipses, and Tom Waits tours: some things just don't come around too often. Lucky for us, 2008 is shaping up to be a favorable year, once which will see the elusive Mr. Waits grace stages across the U.S. and Europe.

I don't even know what to say. DREAM COME TRUE. Please, please, please, please, PLEASE come to the Netherlands. Or nearby in the summer holiday so that I can go. PLEASE!

Feb. 2nd, 2008 01:14 pmHEEEE! Remember how I went to see Genesis last year? Apparently they have a live compilation album out from that tour called "Live Over Europe" (oh, the originality!) and there are two songs on it from the show I went to.
One is No Son Of Mine, which is one of my absolute favourite Genesis songs EVER! YES! I'm so full of glee! :D
